A very exciting/engrossing/enchanting/electric/absorbing week!!!

WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT JAMES?!? That is what you may be asking abou the title of this blog. I will now tell you what all this is for. I felt like talking to you about my week, and I wanted a long title. SO I used the online thesaurus to find other words for ‘exciting’ and that is what I came up with. Isn’t it good. Now, you may wonder why may week is exciting. It is because…

Firstly, Monday 17th August, my school caught on fire!!! YEAH! I am telling th truth. It really did, and it was really cool. I was in the ag plot with some friends when it started. We thought it was just some dust, because it was only very thin. It soon started to get thicker, but we stil did not worry much. Then, while I was holding the chicken, the bell went. I didn’t think that recess had already ended. (because it hadn’t) When I was leaving the ag plot, I realized that the bell was still going, and that the oval was starting to slowly get filled with many students. I looked around to see what was on fire, and I saw that there was smoke billowing out of one of the buildings. I tried to think what room it was, and I realized it was one of the woodwork rooms in Block 1. I started  on my way to the oval. When I got there(with some friends) we tried to find our first period teacher, but couldn’t. Then one of the teachers came up to us and toild us to find our first period teacher. (She did this about 3 times, and on the third she shouted at us) We were not able to find our teacher, so we just decided to sit down near most of our class. Our science teacher ended up marking the roll for us… We ended up sitting there for about 1 and a half periods. We had now completely missed out on Maths, and we had missed out on half of English(I am not complaining) The deputy principal ended up coming along and telling us to go to an assembly so they could tell us what was happening. Apparently 3 fire trucks turned up, and they managed to extinguish the fire rather quickly. Unfortunately that the top of block one is now out of order while they try to clean the mess up. Also, some year 12 major works were damaged.

Also, that same day my brother started work experience at a christian radio station called ‘Hope 1032‘ When we picked him up, he told us he enjoyed the day greatly. He also told us another funny story. He was having lunch(I think) when the breakfast announcer paged the whole building saying the the school that my brother went to was on fire. Apparently it was on the 1pm and 2pm news bulletin.

Also, on Tuesday, we got our new car. YAY!!!!!!! It is a nice silver Mitsubishi Lancer. We had to get this as a replacement for the old Red lancer that was in a car crash. The silver car is very good, but there is one thing that I don’t like. It is the boot. It is not as big as the red car, and it is harder to get things in because it has a smaller opening, but the three back seats do fold forward making it possible to drive long items around. Just what we want.

Wednesday was not very exciting. I did not do much, so I will not talk to you about it.
Thursday was good though. I had another guitar lesson, and my teacher (my aunt) says that I am going very well. YAY! I can now play ‘Skip to the loo’ & ‘Ode to Joy’!
Friday, ummmmmm… nothing much there.
Saturday. Well, that was busy. Firstly, my younger brother had his soccer grand final at Parramatta Stadium at 10am, but we had to go there at 8.45 so they could practice. I was the un-official photographer for the game, seeing as there were many other cameras in the audience, and the fact that there were two professional photographers walking around taking photos. My dad also had an un-official job too. He was the un-official video man and I was then the un-official video editor. My brothers team ended up winning 3-0! They are very happy about the win. (The first goal was scored within the first 5mins) After that we went to McDonald’s and I had my usual, a small big mac meal. (The big mac isn’t big at all) After that we came home and I started editing the video. I did not try to make a very good video because I was told that the video was not going to be distributed this year (It was distributed last year) So… YEAH! That is mostly all that I did that was exciting. Now I am going to go and do some quick homework(they don’t give us much) and then I am going to come and work on the design of this website. At the moment all the links are bright green. SO, i better get cracking!
